Project Pat – CheezNDope Ft. Young Dolph x Key Glock

The one and only, Project Pat is back! The Memphis native was apparently feeling nostalgic and decided to revisit one of his iconic anthems from the past. Taking us back to 2001, Project Pat serves up something old, yet something new.

There is something special that happens when a Project Pat track comes on; at least around these parts. The legendary southern wordsmith returns to the interwebs with a new track for our listening enjoyment, cooking up some “CheezNDope” in the process. The new single finds Project Pat revisiting his 2001 classic, Mista Don’t Play: Everythangs Workin, updating “Cheese and Dope.”

This time around the track gets a new verse, as well as guest verses from fellow Memphis natives Young Dolph and Key Glock. The trio brings a dose of their lyrical talents, going all the way in over top of an infectious, intense instrumental in the process. The track is pushed by these big, hard-hitting bass sections, paired with rattling percussion and slick, catchy melodies. The combination makes a nice home for the three Memphis natives to excel, and they deliver accordingly.

No word on where this might live, or if Project Pat is working on a new project; but we’re hopeful. Take a few minutes from your day and check out the new single, “CheezNDope” with Young Dolph & Key Glock in the stream below. Stay tuned for more new music coming soon.
