After serving up a handful of singles, the wordsmith is back with another one ahead of his album. Today THURZ cooks up a silky smooth new cut called “One” for our listening pleasures. “One” follows “Loyalty,” “Long Live,” and “777-9311,” and the wordsmith serves up something remarkable. The track finds THURZ linking up with Dem Joints, who laced the wordsmith with one hell of a home. “One” is pushed by these big, hard-hitting bass drums, smooth and fresh while paired with some snappy, rattling percussion. This energetic combination is then paired with a slick vocal sample that provides a bouncy, contagious melodic element. THURZ hits the track running and provides a dose of his lyrical talents.
