For the past several years, Reese LaFlare has been making quite a bit of noise. The Atlanta native has been a star of the underground and today he is back with a brand new EP for our listening enjoyment. After spending the past few years unleashing a barrage of exceptional projects and singles, he returns with another impressive new effort. The Ep is titled ‘Lil Skate For President,’ a two-song drop that finds the wordsmith showing off the best of his abilities. ‘Lil Skate For President’ features “Lil Skate for President” and “Cash Talk.”
The Ep arrives after his appearances on Dreamville’s Revenge of the Dreamers III. Both tracks are shining examples of Reese’s uncanny knack behind the mic. “Lil Skate For President” finds Reese LaFlare doing his thing over top of this snappy, menacing drum sections while paired with some incredibly catchy melodies. The second single, “Cash Talk,” finds the wordsmith giving us something braggadocious. Driven by some smooth drums and some fitting melodic elements. Reese has been doing his thing for a long time, and he provides another reason to be a fan.
The EP is certainly something solid and definitely one project worth adding to your listening selection. Don’t sleep on this one. Check out the new EP in the stream below and keep it locked for much more new music coming soon.
