You might not be too familiar with Savannah Ré, but you will be soon enough. The Toronto native has been working hard for a long time, and she has quite the resume. Over the past few years, Savannah has put in work with the likes of Boi-1da, Babyface, and Salaam Remi. Today the talented artist is back with a brand new single, one we wouldn’t suggest sleeping on. Savannah unleashes a smooth new track entitled “Homies.”
The track is quite a relatable one as she speaks about falling for someone she knows she’s better off without. Savannah shows off her undeniable talents behind the mic while touching on something we’ve all been through. She opens up about the push and pull between staying and leaving, touching on temptation, and more in the process. The track is just the latest from Savannah, who recently released “Where Are You,” another smooth new single you shouldn’t be sleeping on.
It’s been a busy few years for Savannah Ré, and she looks to keep things going strong into 2021. “Homies” is pushed by these smooth laid back melodies and some crisp drum work that supplies a perfect backdrop for Savannah to do her thing. She doesn’t let us down, putting together a fine display of her vocal prowess and delivery along the way.
