It’s been far too long since we got a new project from Skyzoo. That is all about to change on September 20th. Over the past several months the wordsmith has been unleashing a steady stream of new music for our listening enjoyment. The wordsmith is prepping to release ‘Retropolitan’ with Pete Rock soon, and today the duo invade the interwebs to drop off a new single.
The track is called “It’s All Good” and its the lead single from their impending project. The single finds both artists bringing their a-game, Skyzoo behind the mic, and Pete Rock behind the boards. Driven by some soulful melodies elements and these contagious, energetic drum sections, the track provides a nice home for Skyzoo to do his thing.
As usual and as expected, the wordsmith delivers nicely. The Brooklyn rapper takes to the beat and floats, unleashing a barrage of his lyrical prowess in the process. The nostalgic feeling instrumental provides Skyzoo with a perfect place to unleash his talents, and he certainly doesn’t fall short. These two have been cooking up incredible material for years, and this is their latest.
