adidas Originals and Liam Gallagher are set to drop off a collaborative sneaker which celebrates his new album Why Me? Why Not?. The LG SPZL will arrive as a SPEZIAL silhouette. The sneaker boasts a cream colorway and modified tongue to feature Gallagher’s picture and name. The design is both classic and contemporary, offering unique elements that make it stand out amongst the crowd.
Gary Aspden opened up about the collaboration. He stated: “I have known Liam for over 20 years and we have always got on. He is one of the people who has worn and supported what we do with adidas Spezial since day one so this collaboration evolved organically.” Mr. Aspden added, “He liked the silhouette of the Padiham SPZL on the whole but said he wanted it to look neutral and understated. This shoe became foundation for the LG SPZL.”
Liam Gallagher also spoke about the silhouette, and the honor it is to have a signature sneaker. He stated: “Right … here it is my adidas LG SPZL collaboration. Absolute honor to have been asked to design and create such a Biblical trainer. Hope you like.”
