Back like they left something, adidas returns with something new for our footwear collections. After unleashing Chinese New Year-celebrating sneakers, the brand with the three stripes is back with another new entry. Today we get our first look at the adidas Originals Forum Communicator Mid. The sneaker takes the shape of the iconic Forum Mid, doing so with several unique details throughout.
The sneakers come rocking a white leather base that is contrasted by white canvas on the toe box, tongue, and mid-panels. Trefoil branded clips are seen on the mid-panel, offering a utilitarian aesthetic in the process. China’s industrial innovations inspire the straps with tags on the lower-mid section, straps, and tongue. The sneakers are also host to typographic printing, which was created using clay. This detail is found on the lace lock, which features more Chinese characters.
The straps wrap around the show and point down on the lateral side. The ride foot features red heel embroidery, while more industrial accents can be found on the outsole. The sneakers are nothing short of eye-catching and a worthy addition to any collection.
