All year Vans has been release outstanding and elevated collaborative designs. The good folks over at size? have paired up with the iconic streetwear imprint for a special Halloween collaboration. The two have linked up to revamp the legendary Sk8-hi, offer a ghoulish design inspired by Vans’ archive prints, refreshed for Halloween ’19. The collaborative effort features an eye-catching web print seen in Vans’ archive as the main point of inspiration.
The SMU is constructed from a mix of suede and canvas, rocking a bold colorway in the process. The sneakers are draped in black, purple, and lime, which makes for an eye-catching and incredible combination. The upper is seen with white panels on the side of the sneakers while the white archive web print is joined by the brand’s iconic black leather side stripe. Details of lime gree are seen on the off the wall patch on the tongue, adding a contrasting pop of color in the process. The size? Exclusive Sk8-hi sits on top of a black outsole, while a contrasting white skull and crossbones print makes a nice touch. The kicks are then detailed with a purple-colored license plate and bumper. Finishing things off is a lime green ‘Trick’ and purple ‘Treat’ messaging on the lace tips, keeping in line with the Halloween theme.
