From the outside looking in, It would be easy to assume Post Malone might be a nocturnal creature. Only coming out at night to perform in front of sold-out crowds nightly. Well, a new collaboration with Arnette Sunglasses proves otherwise. The hottest genre-defying talent on the planet has been rocking with Arnette for a while, but this is his first signature frame series. I’d be lying if I said I expected anything different from the partnership.
Arnette has been ingrained in the eyewear game since the ’90s. YouTube videos of Posty doing Nirvana un-plugged prove it’s a match well made too. This is no one and done either. The Post Malone + Arnette collection features eight different frames in a variety of trippy colorways. Options like Lizard, inspired by his iguana Karl, The Bobby, Dirkk, are distinctly original new styles. The Borrow, Boxcar, Lost Boy, and Swindle round out an impressive stable.

While we have seen some of those styles before, they’re a little different this time around. The second part of this collaboration features some long-time favorites in fun new color combos and utilize the Sustainable frame material from Arnette. The frames of Arnette’s new models, Lost Boy and Borrow, are made of BTR 600 LS. This innovative material is defined by international standards and regulations as “Biobased”. 56% of its composition is derived from renewable sources (castor oil), making it noteworthy for its reduced impact on the environment.
This is a first Biobased collection from a brand under the eyewear Juggernaut Luxottica umbrella. However, as it’s been before, it’s safe to assume Arnette may be setting a trend here as more customers look for eco-responsible products.
