If you thought you might have seen these already, it’s because the initial preview of the Off-White x Jordan collaboration made some waves back in Mid-June. Influencer Erik Arteaga was seen skating in an unreleased monochromatic pair of the Air Jordan 4 on Instagram. We’ve now got them in plain view.
Late last week, an autographed Off-White™ x Air Jordan 4 “Sail” sold for an amazing $187,000 USD at auction with proceeds going to the Black Lives Matter movement, Inquest, and The Black Curriculum. The images of the women’s exclusive colorway showcasing Virgil Abloh’s work have appeared, and we’ve got details.
Limited quantities are set to release on July 25th. The “Sail” color for the base is the perfect “off-white” for a casual summer feel. Three hooves for the signature “Shoelaces” give an option to make them a little more personalized. Translucent heel construction and details make the bold black “AIR” midsole label stand out even further on the subtlety perfect shoe. Each detail of the shoe is there without anything getting lost in a busy color scheme. Well placed use of modest accent colors only accentuate the timeless design of the AJ4s.
The price for the July 25th release of the AJ4 is confirmed at $200 USD and will be exclusively in women’s sizes for the time being.
