Summer Walker – Come Thru Ft. Usher

2019 was quite the year for Summer Walker. After serving up her debut album ‘Over It,’ the songstress is back with a brand new video for one of the project’s many standouts. Today Summer links up with the ATL’s very own, Usher, for the video to “Come Thru.” The track comes to life in a fitting clip directed by Lacey Duke. The steamy video was shot at night at the 285 Flea Market in Atlanta. The songstress is seen on top of a car while rocking black latex, surrounded by fog and a neon glow.

She does her thing before linking up with Usher. The icon then takes over the video and shows off his signature dance moves along the way. The track was produced by London on da Track, based around a sample of Usher’s 1997 hit “You Make Me Wanna…” Even Jermaine Dupri, who produced the original, makes a cameo in the clip in order to bring everything full circle. “Come Thru” has been officially certified gold, and her debut album ‘Over It’ opened at Number 2 on the Billboard 200.

Check out the new visuals in the clip below and look for much more from Summer Walker coming soon. In the meantime, be sure to check out the latest installment of our weekly playlist, ‘A Curation of Sound.’
