Summer Walker – Something Real Ft. Chris Brown

If you haven’t yet gotten acquainted with Summer Walker, you are missing out. The songstress has been unleashing a slew of contagious material as of late. Today she is back with more of the same, again linking up with London On Da Track. Today Summer links up with Chris Brown for a silky smooth new effort entitled “Something Real.” The track finds the duo shining, respectively, showcasing their uncanny abilities while getting quite a backdrop to excel upon.

London provided the duo with a bass-heavy backdrop with sparse yet lush melodic elements. The arrangement is infectious, and the duo flawlessly does their thing in the process. Summer Walker gets reflective on the track, speaking on heartbreak and romantic slights. Chris brings his smoothness to the track, as usual, and gives the track a nice dose of his vocal flexing. Chris sings: “And I know you ain’t never had nobody in your life. That’ll come and do you right, right. Don’t you let me to change your life? Girl, I’m tryna put that wrist underwater Girl, I might just give you a daughter.” The track is nothing short of catchy and certainly one we wouldn’t suggest sleeping on.
