After revealing their first convertible in almost five years, Lexus is gearing up for something big: the release of the 2021 LC 500 Convertible. Lexus looks to “Keep the Light Alive” with a new campaign to launch the LC Convertible. The vehicle is the perfect expression of the emotional desire of the times and the need to get out. The campaign is all about the desire to take in the daylight and enjoy a bit of freedom.
The LC 500 Convertible is the perfect car to do so. The ride was created with performance and styling at its core, aligning with its counterpart, the flagship LC 500 coupe. The car boasts a low center of gravity and a soft-top approach that continues its unmatched agility and luxury styling. The new convertible is powered by a 471-horsepower naturally aspirated V8 engine, and also features Lexus Climate Concierge. The vehicle even comes with advanced engineering to keep unwanted noise out while driving with the top down. Lisa Materazzo, Lexus vice president of marketing, spoke about the new campaign and the LC Convertible. She stated: “The decision to purchase a convertible is typically an emotional one.” She added, “More so than other vehicles it evokes a sense of escape and freedom by heightening the driving experience. There’s simply no substitute for the universal human emotion of joy that comes from an open-air drive. The LC Convertible is purpose-built to create those memory-making moments.”
