Known for flawlessly blending luxury and performance, BMW returns with something striking for 2020. BMW has officially unveiled its M package for the 2020 X5 and X6 SUVs. The duo are two of the most powerful, best-performing SUVs in the game, also offering next-level luxury in the process. As with any M-edition creation, the best part is under the hood. BMW has taken their 600 horsepower twin-turbo V8 from the M5, adding it to these two SUVs.
This combination makes for a powerful ride that is quite capable of turning heads and doing so quickly. The ride features 553 lb-ft of torque, boasting a 0-60 mph sprint of just 3.8 seconds. The 617 horsepower Competition version gets there in 3.7 seconds. The M Driver’s package offers a slew of unique options. However, the standout feature is a free training course at one of BMW’s two driving schools. The all-wheel-drive system includes a rear-biased Sport mode, and even the brakes have two settings — Comfort and Sport. Other details include an enhanced ride height and all-wheel-drive options, which all come together for something special. These two machines are certainly worthy of the M badge.
