Back at it once again, The Weeknd returns with something new for our listening and viewing pleasures. The artist released an expanded version of his new album, unveiling Dawn FM (Alternate World) on January 12th. The artist joined forces with Swedish House Mafia for a remixed rendition of the album’s second single, “Sacrifice.”
In October, the artist first linked up with the supergroup, unleashing the single “Moth To A Flame” from their forthcoming LP Paradise Again. The reworked iteration of “Sacrifice” features a sample of Alicia Myers’ 1981 single “I Want to Thank You.” The Weeknd also serves up a video for the ‘Alternate World’ rendition, offering a unique clip that features a voguing dance sequence.
Elsewhere on the Alternate World edition, The Weeknd is joined by Italian EDM group Agents of Time for a remix of “Take My Breathe Away.” Do yourself a favor and check out Dawn FM (Alternate World) in the stream and check out the video for the “Sacrifice” remix below.
