The one and only, Virgil Abloh, is back at it once again. The designer, artist, and more is back with a bold new collaboration with home appliance brand Braun. The two have come together for a pair of limited-edition alarm clocks. The new Off-White c/o Braun edition alarm clocks serve as the second collaboration between the two.
Braun has a reputation for high-quality products, lending their craftsmanship to Off-White’s vision. The result is a unique and functional design that blurs the lines between disciplines. The BC02 compact alarm clock was chosen for the launch product. It was selected due to its influence, which comes from the AB1, designed by Dieter Rams and Dietrich Lubs in the late 1980s.
The clocks are seen in a highly saturated orange or muted light blue colors, boasting Off-White branding. According to Mr. Abloh, those colors were selected because they “stand out in an interior setting design.” The battery-powered Off-White c/o Braun edition alarm clocks arrive as 57mm squares with a matte finish and dial. A quiet quartz movement with a crescendo-sound alarm finishes things off. The clocks dropped recently via Off-White online and Off-White boutiques.
Take a closer look at the eye-catching new clocks in the images and head over to Off-White to find out more. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more art and design news coming very soon.
