Netflix is gearing up to drop off season two of ‘Narcos: Mexico’, which is set to premiere next month. Before it arrives, Netflix is back with a new trailer showing off a divided drug empire. Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo is seen in the clip saying, “The Americans will try to stop us, but they will fail.” He goes on to add, “Now you’ll see what happens when the cage breaks open, and all the animals run free.”
The clip also finds the DEA getting more aggressive in order to take down the Guadalajara cartel. This all follows the death of agent Kiki Camarena. Scoot McNairy will also make his debut this season as the agent in charge of Operation Leyenda. The task force will eventually avenge Camarena, and his casting has been kept a secret. Netflix describes his character as “a hardened DEA agent whose methods aren’t always by the book.”
