The good folks over at New Balance return. This time around, the iconic sportswear label is back, putting a new spin on the X-Racer silhouette. Today we get our first look at the new X-Racer “Utility,” which adds a handful of functional details. The sneaker comes rocking a unique build which starts with a thick “X-Racer” tongue tag. The sneaker features a mesh foundation which is detailed by oversized rope laces.
The rest of the upper is crafted from leather, offering some bold utilitarian details and geometric panels. Branding is seen on the sidewalls, just below the zippers and next to a small cargo pocket. Other features include intricate top-stitching and a large tri-toned ABZORB midsole, which round off the silhouette’s unique and bold design.
The X-Racer “Utility” is offered in a trio of colorways, including white, black and tan. The sneakers are slated to drop on March 27th on New Balance’s website for $165. Step up your style!
