New Balance has been on a roll lately, creating new silhouettes and bold colorways for an already impressive fleet of footwear. 2022 marks an expansion for the sportswear imprint, and they are back today with a fresh new lifestyle offering. The New Balance CT302 blends elements for several of the imprint’s court silhouettes. Along the way, we find critical details inspired by the 327, 237, and 57/40.
The low-profile design has a synthetic leather base layer, while the eye-catching rubber toe cups add some personality. The side panels are host to oversized N logos, as seen on the 327 while featuring traditional New Balance branding on the tongue and CT302 on the inserts. Finishing off the sneaker is a platform midsole that has a fashion-forward aesthetic. To showcase the new silhouette, the brand aligned with rising tennis star Coco Gauff in a white and light blue colorway.
