Once again, the good folks over at ASICS are back at it once again. The sportswear imprint is back with not one but two new pairs of sneakers that are sure to add some comfort and style to your Spring selections. ASICS returns with two new iterations that draw design inspiration from the concept of “Retro Futurism.” First up is the HS1-S Gel-Venture 7. This eye-catching design converts the trail-geared construction from one of the brand’s road running styles into a hybrid variation.
The silhouette features recycled upper materials with an evolved shape channeling design elements from the GEL-KAHANA 8 toe and heel’s technical nature. The sneaker is finished off with GEL technology cushioning in the heel and a lugged outsole tread pattern. Next up is the -S Gel-Contend. This eye-catching silhouette walks the line between street style aesthetics and commute-to-casual running functionality.
The shoe features synthetic overlays while reworking the original design with a no-sew quarter-panel, a modified toecap, and sustainable materials throughout the upper. The sneaker is finished off with Amplifoam cushioning in the midsole and GEL technology in the heel.
