Tech Gets Tough | Nomad Partners With Dupont For Updated Power Cables

Our modern mobile devices keep us connected, they keep us on time, and they keep us functioning. While modern mobile tech has changed everything, the charging cables that most of our phones come outfitted with arrive crafted with poor quality. We’ve all been there, aiming to charge a nearly dead device just to find out that our power cable has split, frayed, or simply broke from wear and tear.

Well, Nomad is changing the game, linking up with Dupont for a durable, functional and tough cable that will probably outlast your phone. The two companies have wrapped Nomad’s cables in double-braided Kevlar, paired with a Kevlar central core. The design is the first cable of its kind with this type of construction, offering a tough yet functional approach to charging. Nomad and Dupont have also upped the ante in terms of durability thanks to a strain relief support system which aims to reinforce where we tend to find the most wear and tear on a cable.

Each connector even features a full metal alloy housing, while the MFI-certified cables are also available in just about every variant you could possibly need for today’s devices. Nomad has crafted USB PD-ready cables, USB-C cables, and even multi-tip universal cables.

Nomad is always looking to elevate our experience with technology, and their new Kevlar cables offer a durable approach to the most significant weak spot in modern tech. Take a look at Nomad’s collaboration with Dupont in the images and head over to Nomad to pick up yours immediately.
