A New Look! Harley-Davidson Reveals All-New 121-Horsepower Sportster S

The good folks over at Harley-Davidson return to the news. The iconic motorcycle manufacturer returns with the newest addition to its sports range of bikes. Today we get to check out the all-new Sportster S. The motorcycle was built off of the Revolution Max platform, bringing a dose of style and performance to one of Harley’s most popular designs.

The sleek new look pays tribute to the bike’s history, doing so with plenty of power and attention to detail. The Sportster S boasts 121 horsepower and plenty of low-end torque thanks to its 1250T V-Twin engine. The power-to-weight ratio is also optimized, as the bike weighs just 228kg with a full tank of gas.

The stiff chassis makes for a comfortable ride, boasting a welded tubular steel trellis swingarm and stamped X-member. While it’s impressive all around, the bike’s cornering is exceptional thanks in part to fully adjustable, SHOWA 43mm inverted cartridge forks, and a SHOWA Piggyback reservoir rear shock. Stopping power is provided by a Brembo four-piston front caliper with a 320mm disc and a rear two-piston matched with a 260mm disc.

Harley-Davidson has outfitted the bike with several innovations to assist with your ride. These details include USB-C ports, heated grips, cruise control, pre-programmed ride modes, a circular 4.0-inch TFT screen, LED lighting, and adjustable brake and clutch hand levers.

Speaking about the Sportster S, Jochen Zeitz, chairman, president, and CEO, Harley-Davidson, stated: “The Sportster S is the next all-new motorcycle built on the Revolution Max platform and sets a new performance standard for the Sportster line.” Zeitz went on to add, “This is a next-generation Sportster defined by power, performance, technology, and style. And it’s part of our commitment to introduce motorcycles that align with our strategy to increase desirability and to drive the legacy of Harley-Davidson.”
