Art On Display | BELIEF Moscow’s Pop-Up Celebrates Kirill Lebedev

BELIEF Moscow has made a name by supporting local street artists. Today the gallery is back in the news to announce an exhibition pop-up with renowned Russian street artist Kirill Lebedev. After working with artists like 0331c, Barabakaa, HERMAN IX, Igor Mukhin, and Ilya Piganov, the gallery has put together something special yet again. The space can be found under the Crimean Bridge in central Moscow. The project expands the Moscow retailer’s relationship with art gallery NOTFOUND, while KTO was invited to take over the location and create two canvases.

The pop-up also showcases a series of graphics by the artist as well. Guests will be surrounded by over 50 works from the period of 2019-2020, which feature Kirill KTO’s trademark style. His art mixes text and questions written in colorful “dancing” letters and bizarre creatures and symbolic characters. BELIEF has also prepared a limited-edition capsule collection of T-shirts, patches, and a metal stencil. The commemorative release will be limited to just 50 sets.

BELIEF Moscow aims to showcase the variety of interaction formats while bringing art and fashion together seamlessly. Check out a few select pieces from the showcase in the images below and head over to BELIEF Moscow’s website to shop some of Kirill’s art. Visits to the space are possible only by appointment in advance.

Appointments can be made on BELIEF Moscow’s website or by phone +7 495 762 29 88. Find out more about the exhibition in the link above and keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more from the art department coming very soon.
