After landing voice acting credit in movies such as Ice Age 3 and Toy Story 3, it’s safe to say that the voice of Bea Miller is memorable at best. She was a contestant on the Fox series “ The X Factor” as a member of the team mentored by Britney Spears. While she didn’t win that show, there’s no question she’s been doing all right ever since her 9th place finish.
Her debut album “Not an Apology” may have peaked at number 7. But it certainly piqued our interest in the songstress. In her latest release with Jessie Reyez, she brings her unique voice to a techno-inspired track that we can’t get over. “Feels Like Home” is a smooth, steamy love song. The beat begs to be the background noise for a night in with someone you really like.
Between the lyrics, and the delivery of them, this song is an all-out jam that sets a mood. By the time the beat drops on this track, you’re in too deep. “I heard you like old school, so my phone’s playing biggie.” The sweet banter of falling in love slowly gets a little heavier as the lines drift a bit further than the honeymoon phase. Thin ice and Pinkie Promises give way to an emotional chorus that almost tears the heart out of this one. But if you’re just vibing on it, it’s a perfect cuddle jam.
Bea Miller Does Her Thing!
As the third single released so far this year, we can only wait in anticipation for the release of another full-length album from Bea Miller. If the single drops so far are any indicator of a future album, it’s gonna be hot. The unique sound of Miller’s voice over these steamy beats and some stellar production has hopes high. “Feels Like Home” is available on major streaming services.
