Bishop Nehru – I Miss

For those of you unfamiliar with the MC known as Bishop Nehru, it’s time to get acquainted. The wordsmith has been making a name for himself over the past few years, and he returns today with something new. Just about a month ago, the incredibly talented, Bishop Nehru served up a new EP. He’s been busy after serving The Real Book Vol. 1 with Brady Watt, but he takes some time to unleash something new.

This time around the wordsmith serves up a contagious new effort entitled “I Miss,” which comes with a video as well. Bishop shows off his lyrical prowess while getting nostalgic in the process. The track finds the MC getting retrospective, looking back at a simpler life and worry-free times. The track is part of Bishop’s weekly release series, #NehruvianTuesday series. The song is driven by a smooth, laid back instrumental which affords Mr. Nehru with a nice home to showcase his lyrical talents. He doesn’t disappoint, weaving together something thoughtful and infectious along the way. This man never lets us down, and he definitely doesn’t disappoint with this one.

If you haven’t gotten familiar with Bishop Nehru, do so immediately. Check out the new single, and video, in the stream below and look for much more from the #NehruvianTuesday series coming soon. While you’re at it, be sure to check out the latest installment of our weekly playlist, ‘A Curation of Sound.’
