A Rural Retreat | The Shooting Star House

The area of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, is one of the most unique and beautiful areas of the country. Today we take a look at a beautiful home that is situated at the base of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort; The Shooting Star House. This beautiful home is an 8,650-square-foot Wyoming vacation retreat, offering a dose of rustic luxury and modern aesthetics. This structure features a modern exterior, offset by a combination of local stone, reclaimed barn wood, and cedar shingles. This blend provides a natural complement to the rugged scenery that surrounds it.

A glazed entry leads to two wings. The north side of the dwelling features a bunk room, utility room, guests suits, and a ski locker. The main living spaces, a cocktail room, office, and master suite make up the South wing. The interior is host to contemporary furnishings, offering bold graphic textiles, and geometric fixtures. These details play well with an organic palette of concrete, stone, and timber. Expansive glazing throughout the structure provides unrivaled views of the property. The living areas also have some fantastic views, including the valley, woodlands, and the Teton Mountain Range in the distance.

This home is beautiful, to say the least, and one worth your time and attention.
