The hotel chain has brought its sustainable approach to luxury accommodation to the west coast for the first time, opening its first hotel in West Hollywood. The property is situated on the famed Sunset BLVD., putting guests right in the middle of the action. The 285-room property takes over what was formerly The Jeremy, reworking the entire location into an energy efficient, albeit luxurious space to stay.
The building is now one of the most energy efficient hotels in Los Angeles, flaunting an array of unparalleled details and characteristics throughout. The 1 Hotel West Hollywood features details such as reclaimed timber and steel, recycled fiber carpeting, while native and adaptive vegetation with smart irrigation systems elevates sustainable efforts.
The eco-friendly design is set to include two penthouse suites, which are slated to officially open later this Summer. A plunge pool and lounge deck sit above the Hollywood Hills, providing breath-taking views of the LA Skyline. The space will also include an array of culinary creations from the hotel’s 1 Kitchen. Here guests will be treated to Italian-inspired California cuisine while Juniper Tree is home to the hotel’s bar and lounge with handcrafted cocktails, as well as Mediterranean wine options, and local beers.
