What’s the holiday season without some new holiday tunes? Well, today, the one and only Chance The Rapper is back with something new for our listening enjoyment. The Chicago native serves up a new single called “The Return.” The track is from his upcoming project with Jeremih.
The duo are releasing their holiday album, Merry Christmas Lil’ Mama: The Gift That Keeps On Giving. The new opus will include a collection of tracks from their previous 2016’s Merry Christmas Lil’ Mama and 2017’s Re-Wrapped. “The Return” is one of two new tracks and finds Chance holding things down on his own. The track’s smooth, laid back instrumental provides the wordsmith a nice home to excel. He does so, speaking lyrically about shopping sprees and sharing gifts. It’s all about the holiday spirit on this one, and Chance doesn’t fall short.
