Chance The Rapper – Writing Exercise #2

Chicago’s very own Chance The Rapper is back at it once again. After serving up a new single called “Child Of God” with Moses Sumney, Chance returns with another new display of his talents. This time around, the Chi-town representative unleashes “Writing Exercise #2” to celebrate the 10th anniversary of his debut mixtape.

The track finds Chance displaying his lyrical prowess over top of a subtle yet contagious loop from a keyboard. The wordsmith effortlessly does his thing while paying homage to his Chance 10 project. The wordsmith took to Twitter to speak about the moment, stating: “10 years ago I put out my first mixtape under the name Chance the Rapper, it was called 10day. I’m proud of u, kid.” Chance 10 was released on April 3rd, 2012, and featured contributions by Vic Mensa, Chuck Inglish, Flying Lotus, and more.

Check out Chance’s new single, “Writing Exercise #2,” in the stream below, and be sure to check out his other single, “Child Of God,” while you’re at it. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more new music coming very soon.
