Chris Rivers – N.A.S.A. Ft. Oswin Benjamin

New York City’s very own, Chris Rivers has a new album on the horizon. The wordsmith is gearing up for the release of his ‘Greatest in the Universe’ album, which drops on August 16th. Today Mr. Rivers returns, in doing so he serves up a new single, another showcase of his lyrical talents that is much deeper than one might expect. The track, “N.A.S.A.” has nothing to do with space, though it does find Chris pairing his talents with fellow rising wordsmith Oswin Benjamin. The fellas showcase their lyrical talents, trading bars over quite an impressive instrumental.

Chris opened up about the single recently and stated: “N.A.S.A., normally associated with the exploration of space, is now an acronym for ‘N***as Act So Authentic’ and how sometimes we need space from all that energy.” He continued, adding, “It sounds like we’ve been doing this for at least 400 years with high levels of lyricism, flows, smoothness, and boundless awesomeness. It’s out of this world.”

The track was produced by Rod the Producer, an aptly titled name, and it’s set to live on Chris’ impending album. Check out the new track, “N.A.S.A.” in the stream below and look for ‘Greatest In The Universe’ on August 16th.
