Colorful Kicks! LaMelo Ball Honors Charlotte With PUMA MB.01 “Queen City”

LaMelo Ball is back in the news. The 20-year old point guard earned Rookie of the Year honors and his first All-Star appearance. This year he’s been putting on a showcase of his skills in his signature PUMA MB.01 sneakers. Today the superstar is back with a brand new colorway dubbed the “Queen City.”

The colorway debuted during the NBA All-Star Game, in which he put together a solid example of his talents on the hardwood. The new colorway was inspired by Charlotte’s nickname, which was given to the North Carolina city after King George III’s wife. The silhouette features influence from Charlotte Hornets team colors, most of which are dominated by a “Purple Glimmer” hue covering the upper and entire sole. “Blue Atoll” accents are found on the branding details on the tongues and throat, as well as to outline the PUMA logos on the forefoot. Clean, colorful, and eye-catching, the “Queen City” MB.01 will indeed add some color to your collection of kicks.

Take a closer look at the striking new colorway in the images and look for them to drop via PUMA and select retailers on March 18th. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more great footwear coming very soon.
