Fresh off their debut fashion show, Ferrari is back at it! This time around, the Italian supercar manufacturer has partnered with PUMA on a new silhouette. The two have collaborated on the new ION F sneaker. The two labels have a longstanding relationship that goes back to the late ’90s. PUMA used to make Formula 1 drivers’ shoes before turning those silhouettes into street-ready sneakers.
Now Ferrari is getting deeper into the design, using its talent to inspire its sneakers. The SF80 Stradale influences the ION F, boasting a “Rosso Corsa” and “PUMA White” colorway. The sneaker is a showcase of style and attention to detail. With Ferrari branding seen throughout, the sneaker also features some great details that shouldn’t be missed.
The sneaker features a rear reflective TPU and a PU foam-wrapped panel inspired by the SF90’s front spoiler. The sneaker’s magnetic-fit lock buckles pay homage to the power of the SF90 while including a combination of curves and angles that can be seen on their vehicles. The sporty look is also functional and striking, fitting in with Ferrari’s new fashion collection in the process. The sneaker is nothing short of eye-catching and impressive, to say the least.
