It’s been a minute since we got a new project from Dom Kennedy. Today the wordsmith is back, though this time around he’s back with a brand new compilation. Back in 2012, Dom Kennedy released a project called Young Nation. That project arrived as a showcase of the talent on his OPM roster. Today Dom Kennedy and OPM make their return, serving up ‘Young Nation Vol. 2.’ The crew is back to showcase their talents once again, and they do not disappoint.
The project arrives with eighteen new tracks, led by the single “Pharaohs” with The Game and Jay 305. Along the way, Dom and the rest of the OPM squad serve up a solid dose of lyricism. The crew puts together something exceptional, all of them providing with something impressive along the way. The fellas are joined by the likes of Warm Brew, Quentin Miller, Niko G4, and a few others. Standouts include “Swervin,” “Real Time,” “Boss Moves,” “No Cut,” “Fast,” and “Sweat it Out.”
