Above The City | The Wild Lilac House

Located on a hilltop in Southern California is a modern refuge. The Wild Lilac House calls the San Bernardino National Forest home. This property features a modern structure that comprises the primary residence. The property also includes a pool house. Both of these structures come formed by thickened walls running east-to-west. This contemporary design’s protected by the wall, while the home’s more private areas boast protection from the sun.

These thick walls also protect the interior from the sun. These barriers come connected by a glass facade that provides views of the sunset across the valley. A sliding glass door expands the Eastern side of the home. The central courtyard blurs the line between the interior and exterior. The patio features an integrated pool and spa, providing a sleek and stunning aesthetic. Concrete steps lead the way up to the pool house, which provides an additional space to overlook the valley below.

This home is beautiful. The design is packed with outstanding attention to detail and brilliant use of space. From its sharp exterior and eye-catching facade to the clean, minimal interior. The home will have you redesigning your dream home.
