Houston’s very own, Don Toliver is starting to make quite the name for himself. He first got our attention after sharing his talents on Travis Scott’s ‘Astroworld’ album, and since then he’s been unleashing some solid singles and an impressive mixtape. The up and coming artist has been dropping off some impressive new material as of late, and today he’s back with another one.
This time around Don Toliver serves up a new single called “Back Up” with Wiz Khalifa. Not just another loosie from Mr. Toliver, “Back Up” will find itself on the Madden ’20 soundtrack, which is slated to arrive soon. The track finds the duo serving up a solid example of their respective talents, showing out lyrically while putting together something contagious. The track is pushed by the big triumphant horn sections, paired with some snappy, hard-hitting, energetic drum sections. The instrumental is a fitting one for the Madden soundtrack, while Don and Wiz use the opportunity to showcase their abilities behind the mic. They certainly don’t disappoint, putting together something we wouldn’t’ suggest sleeping on. If you haven’t gotten familiar with Don Toliver, you’re missing out.
