Explore FILAExplore | New Pop-up Celebration Collection

This week FILA celebrates Reinhold Messner’s summiting of Mount Everest in 1978 with a collection titled FILA Explore. The collection is broken into four categories (Canyon, Woods, Mountains, and Elements) and each uses different versions of the FILA logo. The logo variations include a nod to 1911, the year FILA was founded, paying homage to FILA’s outdoor heritage in skiing. hiking and trekking.

Reinhold Messner’s summit of Mount Everest in 1978 was the first known ascent without the aid of supplemental oxygen. Of course, he broke all kinds of records during his ascent while rocking FILA gear. FILA celebrates this collection with different versions of the FILA logo including a mountain and graphic map dating back to their 1911 founding. The collection also builds upon this legacy, drawing inspiration not only from nature and natural territories, but also from the archival ski, hiking, alpine, and trek collections released in the 70s, 80s, and 90s.

FILA Explore features an exclusive range of cabana shirts, vests with tactical inspired elements, packable jackets, hiking sticks, convertible trousers/shorts, tees and sandals and trail, and running shoes, amongst other high tech gear. The collection can be seen at a number of pop up shops across the globe.
