YBN Cordae – ‘The Lost Boy’

Last year the world was officially introduced to the artist known as YBN Cordae. Since then, Cordae has steadily and consistently dropped impressive new material for our listening enjoyment. After catching our attention with his response to J. Cole’s “1985,” Cordae is back, and he brings his debut album with him. YBN Cordae serves up ‘The Lost Boy,’ a contagious and impressive new collection of material that is sure to keep you entertained.

‘The Lost Boy’ arrives after a handful of loosies, freestyles, and guest features, as well as memorable performances and more. The project is littered with contagious new material, coming locked in with fifteen tracks in total. ‘The Lost Boy’ includes the previously released single, “Have Mercy,” and Cordae links up with a who’s who of talented MC’s throughout. Production comes from the likes of J. Cole, Terrace Martin, Bongo By The Way, Masego, SiR, Syd, Kid Culture, and more; even Quincy Jones.

The project features guest verses from the likes of Chance The Rapper, Pusha T, Anderson .Paak, Ty Dolla $ign, Arin Ray, and Meek Mill. Standouts include “Bad Idea” with Chance The Rapper, the aforementioned “Have Mercy,” “Thanksgiving,” “RNP” featuring Anderson .Paak, “Been Around,” “Family Matters” featuring Arin Ray, and “Lost & Found.” YBN Cordae delivers something special and provides a solid showcase of his impressive and impeccable talents.
