The artist returns with his fifth studio album, this one entitled White Jesus Black Problems. The project comes in with thirteen tracks, offering a dose of the artist’s unique sound and infectious delivery. The project arrives after his previous three albums won the Best Contemporary Blues Grammy.

This time around, he serves up something deep, meaningful, and highly contagious. The album expresses the artist’s influences, featuring elements of American and African blues, gospel, rock, soul, and a touch of country. He shows off his range once again and puts together another impressive body of work. The album features standouts such as “Man With No Name, “In My Head,” “Venomous Dogma,” “Virginia Soil,” and “They Go Low.”

The album might be a bit all over the place, but it does so in the best possible ways. Fantastic Negrito delivers something stellar and something you shouldn’t be sleeping on.
