The good folks over at Aston Martin are known for crafting some of the most iconic and powerful automobiles on the road. Now they are diving into a different realm of speed. The legendary automaker has teamed up with bike manufacturer Brough Superior to launch the AMB 001 Motorcycle. This sleek and stylish machine is described as “a unique, modern, lightweight, and powerful sports bike concept.” The two companies pulled inspiration from the latest mid-engined Aston Martin cars, focusing on drawing from form and function. The partnership marks the first time Aston Martin has brought a motorbike to market.
The AMB 001 features “Stirling Green” and “Lime Essence,” two traditional Aston Martin Racing colors. Elsewhere the bike boasts matte black accents seen on the wheels, forks, and brake assemblies. Premium materials were used throughout, including carbon fiber, titanium, and billet aluminum. These design cues also help keep the weight down. The AMB 001 houses a turbocharged V-twin engine that produces 180bhp.

Aston Martin, Executive Vice President, and Chief Creative Officer, Marek Reichman, opened up about the bike. He stated: “The same people who work on the design of our cars have worked on the AMB 001.” Mr. Reichman added, “These people are absolute experts and have delivered many of the special project cars that we have designed. Unlike at other car companies, our designers have the full breadth of experience, and I think this is showcased in this aspirational bike.”
Only 100 examples of the AMB 001 will be created, arriving with a price tag of around $120,000 USD.
