He’s never tired, and he’s back! Baton Rouge’s very own, Kevin Gates is back. It’s been over three years since his last album, but today he changes all of that. Today Mr. Gates returns with a brand new opus entitled ‘I’m Him.’ Though he hasn’t dropped a featured album in a minute, he’s kept busy over the past few years with a barrage of new material. The new album arrives after a series of mixtapes, a few EPs and a handful of loosies.
His last project, Only The Generals Gon Understand, an EP, arrived just a few months ago, but Kevin stays working. The new album, ‘I’m Him’ comes loaded up with all new material, loaded with nineteen tracks in total. The LP includes a bevy of excellent new material, including tracks like “RBS Intro,” “Facts,” and “Push It.” The project arrives feature-free, which means we get a bevy of new tracks from Kevin and Kevin along. He doesn’t let us down in the process, cooking up a bevy of his lyrical prowess in the process.
The album includes standouts such as “Icebox,” “Fatal Attraction,” “Say It Twice,” “Have You Ever,” and “Funny How.” Whatever you have in your plans today, be sure to add this one to your listening rotation immediately.
