They’ve taken that gold, added a little purple, and run with it too. Adidas has revealed plans for a special edition Washington Huskies themed UltraBOOST 1.0 just in time for college football kickoff. @UWAthletics even tweeted the exciting news of the collaboration to add some hype to the release. The iconic three stripes and heel cap are a striking metallic gold over a regal purple and white woven upper. A bright white super squishy UltraBOOST midsole pops perfectly under the purple and above a rich black outsole.
The UltraBOOST has a track record of ridiculous comfort and all-day wearability that would make these the perfect shoe for game days at Husky Stadium in Seattle. This drop is in pre-order right now, and it’s expected to be a very limited edition so head to adidas to join the creator’s club and gain early access.
