Always on the hunt for new music and something fresh and different to rocking with, occasionally we come across an artist that just sticks. Latrell James is one of those artists. For anyone unfamiliar with Latrell James, now would be a great time to get acquainted. The Boston native has been churning out exceptional new tunes for years, though it’s been nearly four years since he dropped his last project.
That all changes today as Mr. James releases a brand new EP entitled ‘Still.’ The five-track EP is a perfect showcase of Latrell’s talents, including several standouts. Latrell James gives us a collection of material that shows off his range, doing his thing over top of some impressive instrumentals. Standouts include “One Call,” “Tracphone,” “Stay Down,” and “Grateful.” Latrell is certainly one artist to have on your radar, and this new EP is a shining example of why. The artist recently opened up about the new EP, stating: “Truly feel like I found my voice and how I want to present my music to the world.” ‘Still’ is certainly one worth adding to your listening rotation, and one project I’ll be rocking with for the foreseeable future.
