The one and only, Lizzo is back! The songstress never disappoints, and today, she returns with a brand new remix for our listening enjoyment. We’ve been hearing and seeing a lot more from the songstress as of late. And, we are certainly not mad about it. Lizzo returns today, linking up with the rising star DaBaby for the remix to “Truth Hurts.”
The infectious single has been blowing up, despite being released back in 2017. The original has been on a steady climb toward the top of the charts after an appearance in the Netflix movie, Someone Great. The track also caught on thanks to the success of her Cuz I Love You album. The remix stays the same for the most part with Lizzo showing off her vocal talents and range.
DaBaby takes to the track and adds his uncanny and undeniable talents behind the mic. He takes to the instrumental and serves up a nice dose of his southern draw to the track. These two go together amazingly well, and the remix is certainly one we wouldn’t suggest sleeping on.
