The one and only, Luke James is back. The singer/songwriter is back with a brand new single for our listening enjoyment. Luke has been a busy man so far in 2019, and he returns with a smooth new single entitled “go girl.” The track finds Mr. James linking up with fellow crooner, BJ The Chicago Kid, and Ro James, effortlessly and flawlessly showing off their talents in the process. The track is the lead single from Luke’s own forthcoming project to feel love/d.
The single finds the trio hitting us with something slick, providing a smooth, soulful groove along the way. The track arrives after a steady year of work from Luke James, who was among the contributors on Snoh Aalegra‘s sophomore album. The singer recently opened up about the new single, “go girl”. He stated: “’s a celebratory song that I created with two of my best buds in the business, Ro and BJ”. He went on to add “‘go girl’ is a feeling, an unconventional vibration about a specific woman. It’s perfectly freeing… as if it came out of a ‘90s classic love song or film.”
