Luxury On The Water | Salomé Yachts Bugatti-Inspired Performance Yacht

Etienne Salomé is known in the automotive world thanks to his innovative designs and envelope-pushing concepts. The iconic designer is taking his talents to the nautical world, designing a stunning superyacht that looks like it has been pulled straight from the future. This stunning vessel is a look at the future of watercraft, boasting stunning attention to detail inside and out. Known for his work on Bugatti’s La Voiture Noire, Salomé Yachts latest design pulls inspiration from the Bugatti Type 57SC.

The vessel is known as the Atlantic, and it was officially revealed at the Monaco Yacht Show. The futuristic, water-borne creation includes a number of unique traits influenced by Formula 2 race cars. The vessel is just 12-meters long, built strictly for speed. The yacht is powered by two 880HP Volvo engines, as well as a bespoke air tunnel that’s been carved through the boat’s hull. This offers enhanced aerodynamics at speeds greater than 55-knots.

The contoured body has a classic inspiration, though with modern aesthetics that comes together for something exceptional. The Atlantic is like nothing you’ve ever see. The yacht has an expected delivery date of 2020. Each of the 12 examples will be hand-built in Italy before making their way to buyers. In case you’re wondering, it comes with a price tag of around $1,748,400.

Take a look at this beautiful machine in the images below and find out more about the Atlantic from Salomé Yachts. Be sure to keep it locked to The Culture Curators for more rides of all sorts coming soon.
