Philly’s very own, Meek Mill, is back. The wordsmith made his return to the game this past Friday, doing so with a brand new album for our listening enjoyment. The project is called ‘Expensive Taste’ and serves as Meek’s fifth studio album. The album also marks his first full-length project since 2018’s Championships. The album comes loaded with eighteen new tracks, including “Sharing Locations,” “Blue Notes 2,” and “Flamerz Flow.”
Meek, as expected, shows off his lyrical prowess and delivery, offering up something slick, lyrically sound, and impressive. The project finds the Philly native linking up with a bevy of incredible artists along the way. While he shows off his talents, he is joined by the likes of Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Lil Uzi Vert, A$AP Ferg, Moneybagg Yo, Young Thug, Kehlani, Giggs, Vory, and more. Meek never disappoints, and he definitely doesn’t let us down with this one.
Some of our favorite standouts include “Expensive Pain,” “Hot” featuring Moneybagg Yo, “Love Money,” “Blue Notes 2” with Lil Uzi Vert, and “Halo” featuring Brent Faiyaz. Whatever you do, don’t sleep on this one.
