Modern Moves | The Urbet Ego E-Scooter

Electric power is certainly the wave of the future. Back in 2016, the Spanish mobility company Urbet was founded, and today they return with a look at their latest creation. The Urbet Ego E-Scooter is an electric moped with an eye-catching design. The Ego features an arch-shaped theme. The front and rear suspension are fit into the curved cutouts of the bodywork.

The front suspension boasts cantilever-type geometry and coilover shock, similar to those found on some of BMW’s motorcycles. The rear uses a monoshock. Elsewhere the scooter is equipped with disc brakes, front, and rear. Power comes from a 3000-watt motor and 72-volt battery. This powerful combination equates to a top speed of 56 mph and a range of 75 miles per charge. Charge time is around seven hours for a 0-100% charge. The Ego even features a speaker linked to the throttle that can optionally emit motorcycle sounds.

More than just eye-catching, this functional machine is something we would definitely be seen rocking around the city! Check out the Ego in the images below and head over to Urbet for more information. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more rides for the future coming soon.
