Known for crafting some of the sleekest and most eye-catching supercars on the road, Pininfarina is back. This time around, they have their eyes firmly locked on the Geneva International Motor Show, which kicks off soon. The iconic automaker will take over the showcase with its limited-to-five Battista Anniversario. Today we get our first look at this stunning ride, which follows on from Pininfarina’s standard Battista. This stunning new ride takes its electric hypercar as the base, retooling the design to become 10kg lighter. This helps the Battista Anniversario achieve an increased top speed of 217 MPH.
That’s not it’s only update and upgrade either. The ride is also outfitted with new forged aluminum wheels and performance-oriented tires. The Pininfarina Battista Anniversario will become Italy’s most powerful road-legal car ever made. It’s slated to provide 1,900 hp and 2,300 Nm torque from its four electric motors that are mounted inside a carbon fiber monocoque chassis and body.
Other new features include a “Furiosa” pack that equips the car with a revised carbon fiber front splitter, side blades and rear diffuser. These new elements are seen in a two-tone colorway of the marque’s signature carbon and “Iconica Blu” tinted carbon with pinstripes in “Bianco Sestriere. Each of the five vehicles will come finished in a combination of three signature colors, with “Bianco Sestriere,” an all-new “Grigio Antonelliano” hue, and Pininfarina’s signature “Iconica Blu.” The paintwork takes several weeks to finish by hand, while the pinstripes are hand-painted onto a disassembled body.
