Next Level Travel | Virgin Orbit Space Flight

For anyone looking for an “out of this world” trip, look no further. The good folks over at Virgin are back in the news, prepping Virgin Orbit for its official launch. The company is taking off Mojave Air and Space Port in California, flying a modified Boeing 747 carrier craft and LauncherOne for a unique and interesting adventure.

Upon reaching altitude, LauncherOne will detach from the 747 and use its rocket engines to travel into space. The use of a carrier means that it can take off from existing runways. The rocket also boasts a two-stage expendable design that can carry around 660 lbs to 1,100 lbs to orbit.

If all goes according to plan, Virgin will start looking toward the future of its first paid launch this Summer. Head over to Virgin Orbit to find out more and stay tuned with The Culture Curators for more travel experiences coming very soon.
