Chicago’s very own, Chance The Rapper, was the latest to appear on Carpool Karaoke. The wordsmith linked up with The Late Late Show host James Corden and drove around Los Angeles. While doing so, the fellas chopped it up, literally, and sang tracks like “Hot Shower” and “No Problem.” The pair spoke about a number of topics, including how Chance handles receiving subpar guest verses.
Chance said, “In most of those cases I just don’t put the song out at all.” He went on to say “because I’m so non-confrontational. At first, I call them, and I’m like, ‘You did an amazing job on this verse,’ and then I play the waiting game. When the album comes out I’m like, ‘Yo, sorry you didn’t make it.’” The two also speak about Chance’s disliking of vegetables. Corden then proceeds to make the rapper eat different items and guess what they are.
Hilarity ensues as Chance takes a bite of celery and proclaims, “Yo fuck this.” He then asks, “Is this a dick in my hand?” when handed a cucumber.
